My Rocky Mountain Shopping Utopia........The Ultimate in Living
Welcome to My Rocky Mountain Shopping Utopia's Website.
I retired in the Spring of 2005 after spending 39 years working within the Forest Industry of British Columbia. Needing something to do, I spent three months working as a carpenter's helper building houses, this was great physical exercise as I had spent much of the previous 20 years behind a desk. When Fall came and with it the wet and cold weather, it was time to hang up my hammer. So what do I do now? Why not build a website my inner-self said. To build a website, you need a theme. So after a lot of thought and net surfing I decided what I needed was a site with links to many other sites so I didn't have to continuously search for items I wanted to read or buy.
I designed my website with seven categories in mind, see the navigation bar on the left, these are categories that I find interesting and I hope that you, the viewer, will also have an interest. Each page has photo's that were taken in and around the Rocky Mountains of B.C. and mixed in with these are family photo's from old to current day.
You are presently on the Home page which is the News, Sports and Weather page, it has the latest Canadian News, US News, General Sports News, World News, Current news, a Weather Report, your Daily Horoscope, Entertainment News, access to a Road Report, Astrology, plus a Newspaper Archive.
The News Videos page has videos covering US News, Environmental News, Sports news, Music News, Entertainment News and Financial Investment News.
The Computer Software page will take you to sites for anti-virus protection, software & hardware upgrades, sites to build & publish you own website, sites to buy electronics, ink cartridges etc.
The Sport Health & Fitness page has links to sites where you can buy nutritional supplements, exercise equipment, DVD's on track & field training, sporting goods and apparel. It has access to articles written by some of the best sport, health & fitness guru's in the business today.
The Travel Prices page will allow you to plan your next vacation, take a cruise or just book a flight, make a hotel reservation and rent a car for your next business trip.
The Shopping page gives you access to eBay, amazon, shop.com, the shopping channel and numerous other sites for all your shopping needs. You can buy anything from hockey gear to jewelry to a new propeller for your boat.
The Games page takes you to online games, some are free / some are not. When playing games of chance, always know your limit and play within it or in the words of Kenny Rogers "know when to hold'em, know when to fold'em, know when to walk away". Please use discretion.
